Communications Officer

Plan International Hong Kong is looking for a motivated and energetic candidate to join us to achieve the mission of striving for a just world that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

Working in the Marketing and Communications Department, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include but not necessarily be limited to the following areas:

  • Develop and write copies for corporate and marketing communications materials including bi-monthly eNews, event invitation letters, Electronic Direct Mail, Direct Mail etc.,
  • Proofread and edit English materials
  • Manage and update website content
  • Work with vendors for production of marketing and communications materials
  • Assist in writing publicity materials
  • Render communications support to other team’s activities
  • Occasional travel to the field to collect marketing communications resources
  • Perform other roles as assigned by the supervisor
  • Degree holder in English, Translation, New Media, Journalism
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Have an excellent command of written English, preferable with level 5 or above in HKDSE
  • Self-motivated with great attention to details, creative flair and a multi-tasker
  • Knowledge in using CMS and email system is preferable
  • Agree with Plan International’s mission and vision and observe strictly to data privacy and policies of safeguarding children and young people
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
