Assistant Marketing Manager
OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE:
- The position builds a program model to provide evidence to develop and execute integrated marketing and communications campaigns covering different channels to acquire new donors for generating more regular and one-off income for the organisation.
PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to acquire monthly donors from various programmes including Child Sponsorship Programme, Girls Fund Programme and Plan with Children Programme through different channels including TVC, DM, eDM, telemarketing, social media etc.
- Develop and execute various marketing campaigns to generate one-off income through different channels and convert new one-off donors to monthly donors.
- Conduct analysis on fundraising market trends, and explore and develop new fundraising initiatives to maximise regular and one-off income.
- Supervise and coach the subordinates to develop and implement marketing campaigns to achieve fundraising goals.
- Manage the telemarketing agency for various donors’ upgrade and conversion activities.
- Assist in preparing marketing budget.
- Produce marketing evaluation reports for continuous improvement.
- Work with the IT Manager and the IT vendor to ensure smooth online donation experiences.
- Coordinate and participate in field trips with the Communications colleagues to gather marketing resources for promoting the fundraising campaigns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Knowledge / Job Specific Competencies
- University Degree in Marketing and Sales, Business Administration or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in fundraising/marketing/business development with 3 years of supervisory experience
- Good knowledge of digital marketing with working experience in NGO preferred
- Good Knowledge in producing different marketing materials in appropriate tone and style
- Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and commitment to income growth and goal attainment
- Good written and spoken Chinese and English skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications, knowledge of graphic software
