Plan International Hong Kong Youth Conference 2015 Details

The first “Plan International Youth Conference”, jointly organised by Plan International Hong Kong and Department of Asian and International Studies of City University of Hong Kong, was successfully held on Saturday, 26 September at the University. Under the theme “JUSTICE: Because I am a Girl”, the conference aims to encourage local youth to understand the dire situations girls in developing countries face and foster a sense of global citizenship. 6 local secondary schools participated in the conference and eight teams were formed among students. Each team was asked to represent one developing country. Students from each team first presented on the situation of local girls in each country and made suggestions for improvement.
