Supporter Services Officer
PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position facilitates a seamless donor experience so as to maximise the support from the donors and supporters through implementing the donor maintenance strategy and to provide excellent customer services:
- Perform child assignment to donors
- Supervise part-time staffs and volunteers and work with vendors for facilitating communications between donors and Sponsored Children
- Liaise with offices in other countries to facilitate communications of the Child Sponsorship Programme and donors’ engagement
- Handle communications with donors and donor activities such as donor trips and gathering
- Update donors about the development of the Child Sponsorship Programme and issues related to their sponsorship
- Handle donors and public’s inquiries by providing adequate and accurate information
- Update donors’ information and ensure the good quality of our database
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Level of education
- University Degree preferably in Business, Customer Services, Management, Communication or Social Sciences or other related disciplines
Knowledge / Job Specific Competencies
- At least 1 year working experience in customer services/ relationship management areas, preferably in NGO sectors
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Chinese word processing
- Occasional travel is required

- Attentive to details, strong sense of responsibility and able to meet deadlines
- Well organised and a good team player
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- The successful candidate will be appointed on a one-year contract basis and renewable subject to operational needs.
