International Programme & Partnerships Manager

The position requires a broadly experienced, analytical, creative, self-motivated client relationship focused manager who is responsible for the organisation growth in corporate/institutional donation. This individual will maintain and prospect various partnerships to support the international programme development.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies in fundraising from corporates/major donors/institutions to support the growth for the organisation
  • Identify and actively approach prospects and solicit appropriate partners throughout to maintain a healthy donation pipeline
  • Liaise with Plan’s country offices on programme proposals and project execution to ensure quality outcomes
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts including grant management, maintaining donor relations, the development of applications to statutory, trust and foundations; as well as ensuring grant compliance and timely reporting\Represent the organisation in different internal and external meetings or events
  • Collaborate with other colleagues on cultivating donors relationship and building Plan Hong Kong’s program profile and branding
  • Support CEO on strategic planning and develop annual plan
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:

The ideal candidate shall possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A Recognized degree in development, social work or relevant social science discipline
  • At least 6 years of experience with at least 2 years in managerial position
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and/or grant making experience is preferred
  • Passionate on development issues especially regarding to child rights in the regional, national and local contexts
  • Knowledge of program evaluation and impact assessment
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Maintain an awareness of political, gender and cultural sensitivities and ensure that these are considered during all strategic discussions and development of programmes
  • English requirement – Preferable with Grade C or above in HKCEE (Syl. B) / 7 or above in IELTS
  • Have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Occasional travel to remote area of developing countries is necessary
  • Agree with Plan’s mission and vision and observe strictly to data privacy and child protection policies
