Run for Girls 2021

Run for Girls is a charity run co-organised by Plan International Hong Kong and Cosmopolitan with the aim of fighting for and promoting girls’ rights and justice, as well as protecting girls in developing countries from discrimination, inequality and violence. Run for Girls 2021 will be held in the form of Virtual Run due to the novel coronavirus outbreak. Your donation will be utilised to support our anti-child marriage project in Vietnam which helps Vietnamese girls to learn knowledge, life skills and harmful impacts of child marriage in Girls Club, so as to escape from the vicious cycle of child marriage.

As we received an overwhelming response, the Simplified Version of the run will be continually opened for registration. The registration deadline will be extended to 28 March 2021. You can complete the enrolment form and upload payment receipt to join the run. Participants who complete enrolment after 8 March 2021 and choose runner’s pack will receive a pick-up notice by email in mid-March 2021.

Minimum donation amount: HK$40 (A K-Swiss HK$100 cash coupon will be given participants who complete the minimum donation)

11-15 March 2021 (For participants who registered on or before 8 March 2021, details will be sent to participants by email later)

Participant Journey

Simplified version

Participants can register for the virtual run from now until 28 March 2021 by completing enrolment form (click here to register) and uploading payment receipt. Participants can design the running route by themselves, record the running distance using any running Apps, capture the screen which can prove completion of the target distance and send it to [email protected]. There is no Highest Miles Challenge and e-medals for simplified virtual run.

“齊動 LetZ Goal” App

Participants can register for the virtual run during 3 February – 8 March 2020 by downloading “齊動 LetZ Goal” App (click here to download). Participants can register a desired category and begin the race challenge in “齊動 LetZ Goal” App anytime and anywhere. If you want to join Bestie Group with your friend, there should be a leader to register the category first. “齊動 LetZ Goal” will send a free discount code to leader’s registered email. The other groupmate can register the category by using the discount code.

There is no limit on the number of mileage record uploads throughout the event period. Participants who complete the race will be awarded with a virtual finisher medal. Participants who run the distance of 15km and 30km will be awarded with an exclusive virtual medal.

Participants can use “齊動 LetZ Goal” App to join the “Highest Miles Challenge” during 15 – 28 March 2021. Participants who run the longest distance within the above period will be awarded with fabulous prizes.

Highest Miles Challenge
