Senior Marketing Officer
The incumbent works closely with the Marketing Manager of the Fundraising and Communication Department to develop and promote Kids-Sponsor-Kids and Plan with Children’s programmes to acquire new monthly donors to support the projects implemented in developing countries and Hong Kong. She/He will also be responsible for carrying out various campaigns to raise one-off donations for the organisation.
PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop effective marketing campaigns and events to increase exposure of Kids-Sponsor-Kids and Plan with Children’s programmes and acquire new monthly donors via both online and offline channels
- Identify and engage business partners for collaboration on fundraising campaigns and events
- Plan, organise and execute family friendly activities targeting parents with kids
- Manage and analyse marketing data to inform and adjust strategies
- Conduct marketing campaign evaluation reports to drive continuous improvement
- Assist the team in preparing fundraising materials for one-off donation appeals
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Degree holder in Marketing or other related disciplines.
Level of education
- Degree holder in Marketing or other related disciplines.
Knowledge / Job Specific Competencies
- Minimum 5-6 years of working experience in sales and marketing areas, preferably in NGO sectors
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Chinese word processing, proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other graphic software is preferable
- Occasional travel to the field to collect resources for fundraising purposes is required
- Willing to work at irregular hours, including weekends, if needed
