PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement effective fundraising campaigns and events that are in line with the organisation’s strategic directions
- Grow income from various channels and improve the sustainability of the organisation by proactively securing funds from new income streams
- Lead and manage the Direct Dialogue (DD) fundraising agencies’ and in-house fundraising teams on recruiting regular givers
- Prepare various reports for evaluating the effectiveness of different fundraising campaigns and activities
- Develop the Child Safeguarding Membership Program and its fulfilment to expand the donor base
- Lead the team to manage the market research and evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns
- Assist in the marketing budget preparation and monitor the budget in a prudent manner
- Participate in field trips to developing countries to develop marketing and communications resources
Level of education
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in the area of Business Management, Marketing and Communications
Knowledge / Job Specific Competencies
- Experience in developing and delivering effective fundraising campaigns/events to generate one-off donations and recruit regular givers
- Excellent presentation skills
- Minimum 10 years relevant working experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience in related fields
- Ability to plan, balance and cope with competing priorities
- High standard of numeracy and budgeting skills
- High standard of computer competency and literacy
- NGO-related experience is highly preferred
- Occasional travel to developing countries is required
