PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement effective fundraising campaigns and events that are in line with the organisation’s strategic directions
  • Grow income from various channels and improve the sustainability of the organisation by proactively securing funds from new income streams
  • Lead and manage the Direct Dialogue (DD) fundraising agencies’ and in-house fundraising teams on recruiting regular givers
  • Prepare various reports for evaluating the effectiveness of different fundraising campaigns and activities
  • Develop the Child Safeguarding Membership Program and its fulfilment to expand the donor base
  • Lead the team to manage the market research and evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the marketing budget preparation and monitor the budget in a prudent manner
  • Participate in field trips to developing countries to develop marketing and communications resources

Level of education

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in the area of Business Management, Marketing and Communications

Knowledge / Job Specific Competencies

  • Experience in developing and delivering effective fundraising campaigns/events to generate one-off donations and recruit regular givers
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Minimum 10 years relevant working experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience in related fields
  • Ability to plan, balance and cope with competing priorities
  • High standard of numeracy and budgeting skills
  • High standard of computer competency and literacy
  • NGO-related experience is highly preferred
  • Occasional travel to developing countries is required
